Background: Back by popular demand, this is YOUR Museum’s second year of a fun night out for grown-ups. We offer fun activities in the spirit of the Halloween season, and those 18+ can come enjoy the Museum decorated for Halloween as well as several Spooktacular activities to choose from! Last year’s Fright Night was such a success, we decided to make it bigger and better this year! We have renamed the event Spells and Spirits and plan to continue the tradition for years to come.
We will offer visitors two escape rooms to choose from. We will also have a scary scavenger hunt with prizes, and a Haunted History ghost walk around the neighborhood where visitors will learn all about supernatural happenings in the area and around Wayne County. Also new this year guests can choose to have a Spirit Portrait drawn by artist Sontina Reid, or have a Tarot reading with Marina Raven in a Gypsy wagon! Both practices were performed by mystics and spiritualists historically and are a fun way to explore the unseen during the Halloween season. (for entertainment purposes only)
We will have all new Mad Science experiments to dazzle you and that you may try, if you dare!
Halloween Potions Mixology (21+ with valid ID) is a fun way to interact with a different type of spirits and visitors can purchase and learn to make various Halloween themed drinks.
